Star House Foundation Benefits from Chattahoochee vs. Centennial Soccer Events

The Chattahoochee and Centennial High Schools’ Soccer programs will join forces again this year to benefit the STAR House Foundation of Roswell. The schools will be hosting The Third Annual Chattahoochee vs. Centennial 5K Alumni Game Fun Run on Saturday, March 3 at 11:00 AM. The 5K event is open to all. Participants may register Saturday morning at the Centennial High School Stadium located at 9310 Scott Road in Roswell. The entry fee is $20.00.

The STAR House Foundation’s mission is to help at-risk children by helping them raise their academic achievement and learn the skills to make position life choices. Tutoring, mentoring and enrichment activities give the students the extra boost to help them succeed. This year the proceeds donated to STAR House will be matched by a challenge grant from the Couchman Noble Foundation. This is third year that the STAR House has been selected by schools’ soccer programs to benefit from the event.

Following the 5K Fun Run the Third Annual Chattahoochee vs. Centennial Alumni Soccer Game will kick off at 1:00 PM at Centennial’s Stadium. The match features soccer players with recent and no so recent teams at both these soccer powerhouses. Admission is free, donations are appreciated.
